Government & Agency Purchasing

Everything you need to buy from us.

Laboratory Technologies has supplied federal, state and municipal agencies since 1983 — nuclear instrumentation and CBRN decontamination, manufactured in Elburn, Illinois. Registered in SAM. CAGE code issued in the 1980s.

How to Order

Two ways to buy, depending on the amount.

Most agency orders fall under the micro-purchase threshold and need no purchase order at all.

Under $15,000

Purchase card — buy outright

The federal micro-purchase threshold rose to $15,000 on 1 October 2025. Below it, a cardholder may buy directly: no purchase order, no solicitation, no competition requirement, and no vendor registration needed on your side.

Order S4FE-D™ decontamination products online at any hour, or call and we will take the card here and send the receipt and packing list the same day.

Capabilities

Two product lines, one factory.

Nuclear Instrumentation

Counting and wipe-test systems

Genesys™ multi-well gamma counters, the Multi-Wiper™ and Wiper Gold automated wipe-test counters, and LTI Capture™ data software. Designed, built and serviced in Elburn. Field service and calibration nationwide, including on instruments more than thirty years old.

CBRN Decontamination

S4FE-D™ — powered by Bind-It™

Wipes, ready-to-use spray, concentrate, hand and body soap, and the Decon Response Kit. The Bind-It™ chemistry attracts contamination, binds it so it cannot redistribute, and lifts it away on the wipe — chemical through nuclear, no rinse step, safe on skin, equipment and painted surfaces.

  • GE Healthcare — both lines.

Since 1983

Forty-three years of federal supply.

Laboratory Technologies was incorporated in Illinois on 16 September 1983. Our CAGE code dates from that decade and has never changed hands.

Two years in, we held a contract supplying Genesys™ gamma counters to the medical center at Naval Station Great Lakes, the Navy’s largest training command. Naval admirals drove down to the plant to walk the production floor and sign off on the procurement in person before the contract could close.

A Genesys counter went to NASA in Houston for life-sciences work on astronauts returning from flight. The platform was licensed to Ciba Corning and built under Organon Teknika’s own badge as the OTC 7000; thousands of units shipped worldwide. The Bind-It™ formulation followed in 1990 — developed in-house to clean our own counters after customers damaged them with harsh commercial cleaners, and now the chemistry inside every S4FE-D™ product.
